Exciting New Appointments for the Occupational Hygiene Department at Envirocare

We are immensely excited to announce several new appointments at Envirocare, welcoming Susan Lett, Chris Smith and Phil Gore to the leadership team in our Occupational Hygiene Department.  

Susan, Chris and Phil have proven records of delivering high-quality occupational hygiene services to meet their clients’ needs, while creating the conditions for their teams to be happy and succeed. All three bring a wealth of knowledge to our growing team, totalling 56 years’ worth of experience in the industry.

Susan has worked in a senior leadership role within the industry for many years and holds a voluntary position as a board member in the charitable organisation, the British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS). Susan comes to us with a track record of successfully developing talent. This is clear to see in the yearly BOHS Ted King Award for outstanding performance in the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene being awarded to numerous hygienists. This was made possible through a training programme devised under Susan’s guidance; with Susan herself being the first in her company to receive this prestigious award.  

Susan is looking forward to starting her new role as Occupational Hygiene Director: 

“After working for over 20 loyal years for my previous employer, I am excited to embark on this new venture, and what better place than to be joining the superb team at Envirocare. My passion is to support budding occupational hygienists, to support all our valued customers, and to help protect the health of workers. I am honoured to be part of a forward-thinking, ambitious team and I know we will achieve great things together.” 

Chris Smith will also be starting as Commercial Manager for our Occupational Hygiene team. With over 18 years of experience working across a range of industries, Chris has developed lasting working partnerships with customers, including developing and overseeing comprehensive occupational hygiene programmes for multinational customers. He has a passion for protecting worker health, while ensuring that projects are performed to the highest standards.  Chris comments: 

“Customer satisfaction and the well-being of our employees is essential for maintaining the quality of our work. I look forward to joining the experienced and dedicated team at Envirocare, and I’m excited to make our business even more efficient and responsive to our clients’ needs.”  

We are also excited to announce the appointment of Phil Gore as Technical Manager for our Occupational Hygiene Team. 

With almost 20 years of experience within Occupational Hygiene consultancy and a Master’s Degree in Occupational Hygiene from The University of Manchester, Phil is perfectly placed to drive forward our ambition for quality and technical excellence within the Envirocare Team. Phil is a highly regarded qualified Occupational Hygienist and is well known throughout the industry. We are extremely proud that Phil has chosen to join the team.
