Key Responsibilities
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site
- Carry out environmental sampling following prescribed procedures
- Attend and participate in site inductions
- Travel extensively to customer sites, including overnight stays
- Plan, prepare, and pack sampling equipment
- Clean, maintain, repair, and calibrate scientific equipment
- Assist in preparing Site-Specific Protocols (SSPs) and risk assessments
- Prepare and ship samples to laboratories
- Follow all company and client Health & Safety and Quality Management policies
Essential Skills and Experience
- Interest in environmental monitoring and industrial processes
- A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential due to extensive travel)
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and undertaking physically demanding tasks
- Good attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service
- Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but full training is provided
