About this opportunity

You will be responsible for undertaking and managing all aspects of an occupational hygiene survey. You will visit client sites in the UK and, when necessary, abroad to perform suitable surveys in line with HSE guidance and where appropriate, other internationally recognised methods and the Envirocare Quality Management System.

Ideally you will hold at least the W501 & W503 BOHS (or IOA equivalent) modules and the BOHS P601 Thorough Examination & Test Certificate.

Essential Skills / Experience

  • Self-motivated individual with ability to use own initiative and work autonomously;
  • Excellent written / verbal communication and report writing skills;
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, particularly regarding report writing;
  • Flexible and reliable as overnight stays will be required as part of the role;
  • Work as part of a team;
  • Good attention to detail;
  • Maintain BOHS Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and work towards being a fully certified Occupational Hygienist
  • A Full driving licence is essential as the role will involve mainly local but also UK wide travel
